about us

when i was 63, i started this business because i didn't want to be retired and i wanted to eventually have something for my daughters to call their own. i believe in strong women and I wanted to prove to the women in my life that you can do anything if you try hard enough. i love art, houses, and beautiful things. my store is a gathering of things I think are beautiful: merchandise and lots of friends. i love what i do.

our mission is to find local and southern artists, who are talented, fun, and make a difference in the world.

we have talked to so many nice and wonderful people who are living, doing exactly what they want, and are happy. do you realize how nice it is to talk to people who are happy and content? and this is why I love artists.

entrepreneurs

the second group of artists are the entrepreneurs who have many products that give life a special touch, such as teas, soaps, lotions, personal items, and seasonal products.  these folks have a product and some are produced at home or with the help of family members and produced in small batches.

it is so exciting to create an environment for local & artist small business owners.  i believe in supporting local talent. what i love about americans is the fact that we are inventive, survivalists, creative, honest, and human beings who care about each other.
